Spring Wedding at Hogarths Stone Manor
As a Worcestershire-based wedding photographer, I enjoyed capturing Laura and Phillips' special wedding day at Hogarths Stone Manor on the 15th of April, 2023. Rather than have the civil wedding ceremony at the venue, which the venue can offer in multiple locations, the couple decided to have a traditional catholic wedding at Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Church in Stourbridge.
The Church is ideal for weddings and is a grand, beautiful church. Phillip and his best man Nick arrived early before the guests arrived on a coach together. The Bride, Laura, arrived on time in a luxurious white Rolls Royce. I do enjoy photographing weddings in traditional churches. They are full of character and historical features. The ceremony was emotional and heartfelt, with tears of joy from the bride, groom, and guests. The vows were touching and filled with love, and I was honoured to be able to capture such a special moment for the couple. The bride and groom have requested to return to the Church after the ceremony for a few photos. I used this opportunity to capture a creative wedding photograph of the couple and the majestic stained glass window using multiple flashes and coloured gels.

After the ceremony, the bridal party and guests moved to Hogarths Stone Manor for the wedding celebration. I knew this would be an unforgettable event from the moment I arrived. The bride was stunning in her white gown, and the groom looked sharp in his tailored suit. Their closest family and friends surrounded them, dressed to the nines for the occasion.
Hogarths Stone Manor Hotel is a stunning wedding venue for weddings and is set in the beautiful countryside of Worcestershire. The breathtaking venue has stunning historic architecture and 28 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens and grounds. Laura and Philip's wedding breakfast was held in the Garden room, which had been beautifully decorated.

The Walled Garden at Stone Manor
Hogarths Stone Manor near Chaddesley Corbett has an extensive range of outdoor spaces for different parts of the wedding day and is the perfect setting for small, intimate weddings and much larger celebrations. On arrival, the guests celebrated with a glass of prosecco in the private, secluded walled garden. Once the bride and groom had had time to spend with their wedding guests, I took them off for a precious moment alone around the gardens for a few wedding photographs.
Wedding Breakfast in the Garden Room
I started by capturing the details, including the gorgeous flower arrangements, elegant table settings and wedding cake the groom's mother made. Shortly after the wedding breakfast, the Father of the bride, Groom, Best Man Nick and Laura said some warm words.
The Evening Wedding Reception
After The Bride and groom had cut the cake and did their first dance as husband and wife in front of their wedding guests. I took them off for a few quick, creative nighttime wedding photos. I love creating these epic wedding photographs. The rest of the evening was spent dancing, drinking and spending memorable time with family and friends.
