Outdoor Civil Ceremony at the Pump Rooms

Underneath a bright blue sky dotted with occasional clouds, Lucy and Lee exchanged vows during a stunning outdoor ceremony at the Pump Rooms. The setting was breathtaking, with the greenery and flowers providing a picturesque backdrop for their heartfelt moments. As a wedding photographer, I aimed to capture the raw emotions of the day—the joy in Lucy’s eyes as she walked down the aisle, the proud look on Lee’s face as he saw his bride, and the warmth of their guests’ smiles as they witnessed this special moment. It was a perfect outdoor ceremony, highlighted by a gentle breeze and the loving presence of their families.

Drinks Reception and Group Photos in the Walled Garden

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a relaxed drinks reception in the beautiful Walled Garden. The space was full of light and life, making it the ideal location for candid group photos. As Lucy and Lee mingled with their guests, I captured the lively atmosphere, making sure to get a mix of formal family portraits and fun group shots with the bridal party. The lush greenery of the garden added a timeless elegance to the photos, and it was here that I also arranged a stunning group photo of all the guests—a memorable moment captured in the heart of this charming venue.

Confetti Outside the Drawing Room

One of the most joyful moments of the day was the confetti throw just outside the Drawing Room. As Lucy and Lee made their way through a sea of petals, their smiles said it all. This part of the day has always been a favourite of mine to photograph, as it’s filled with pure celebration. The light filtering through the trees added a dreamlike quality to these shots, capturing the couple’s happiness as their friends and family showered them in love.

Bride and Groom Portraits Around the Grounds

The grounds of Hogarths Stone Manor offer endless opportunities for romantic couple portraits, and Lucy and Lee’s photoshoot was no exception. From the charming Walled Garden to the manor’s more secluded spots, we captured some stunning moments between the couple. I always strive to create a relaxed atmosphere, allowing the couple to be themselves, and Lucy and Lee were no different—they were natural in front of the camera, making my job easy! One of the standout moments was the smoke bomb photos with the bridal party, adding a splash of color and a touch of fun to their portraits.

Wedding Breakfast and Speeches in the Garden Room

The reception moved indoors to the Garden Room, where Lucy and Lee’s guests had a delightful wedding breakfast. The room was elegantly decorated, and the light pouring in through the large windows created a warm and inviting atmosphere. During the speeches, there were many touching and humorous moments. The best man, Lee Broome, delivered a speech that had everyone laughing, while Dave Rudge, the bridesman, shared heartfelt memories, bringing tears of joy to the room. Capturing these candid moments was truly special, as they showcased the love and connection shared between family and friends.

Cake Cutting, First Dance, and Evening Reception

As the evening unfolded, Lucy and Lee went to the centre of the dance floor for their first dance. The LED dance floor and uplighting provided by Blue Diamond Entertainment added a beautiful glow to this moment. The evening reception, filled with music, dancing, and laughter, truly celebrated love and unity. The photo booth was also a hit, with guests capturing fun and silly nighttime moments.

Night-Time Creative Photos: Bubbles, Gels, and the Walled Garden Fountain

I took Lucy and Lee outside for some stunning creative night-time photos as night fell. One of my signature shots involves using bubbles and colored gels, and this wedding was no different. The soft glow of the lights and the bubbles' magic created a whimsical feel that perfectly reflected the couple’s fun and romantic spirit. The Walled Garden Fountain was also a highlight, as we lit it up with colored gels to create a dramatic and unforgettable image that Lucy and Lee will treasure forever.
