Celebrating Love in the Heart of Worcestershire

On a sunny day under clear blue skies, Abby and Brandon married at Hogarths Stone Manor Hotel in Worcestershire. They travelled from Australia and chose the venue for its character and outdoor ceremony space. I'm Paul Hickey of Once in a Lifetime Photography. As their Hogarths Stone Manor wedding photographer, I photographed the intimate moments, emotion and details all day.

Why Abby and Brandon Chose Hogarths Stone Manor

Hogarths Stone Manor lets couples marry outdoors, and the Pump Rooms is one of its most popular ceremony spots. Abby and Brandon exchanged vows there in a calm garden setting. Natural daylight suited relaxed, documentary photos of the ceremony. Indoors, the bright function rooms suit many different wedding styles.

The venue offers wedding packages run by its wedding team, covering everything from civil ceremonies to evening receptions. The Garden Room is a self-contained wedding venue space with garden views. It's light and airy inside, with the option to take the celebrations outside. The private walled garden works well for drinks receptions and garden games.

Guests can stay on site, so the bridal party and family can get ready, celebrate and rest in one place. That makes the venue a practical choice for couples, like Abby and Brandon, with guests travelling from far away.

Bridal Preparation: Getting Ready Photos

The day began in the bridal suite, where Abby, radiant and excited, prepared for the life-changing day ahead. Her joy was palpable as she stepped into her wedding dress, her reflection echoing the anticipation of the coming day. Each photograph told a story, building up the tension for the main event.

Capturing the Civil Ceremony

The outdoor ceremony at the Pump Rooms took place under bright sunshine. Abby and Brandon made their vows with their closest family and friends around them. I kept a low profile and photographed the glances, smiles and tears as they happened.

Confetti and Groups on the Lawn

After the ceremony, guests covered the lawn in colourful confetti, and I photographed it in vivid detail. The lawn and the venue's Tudor-style frontage made a classic backdrop for the group photos. Every smile and hug showed how close Abby and Brandon are to their loved ones.

Abby and Brandon's Portraits Against the Manor

For their portraits, we used the landscaped gardens and the Tudor-style front of the manor. I mixed candid moments with relaxed posed photos. Abby and Brandon against the house, under a deep blue sky, gave some of my favourite compositions of the day.

Dinner and Speeches in the Drawing Room

The Drawing Room hosted the wedding breakfast and speeches. It's a warm, welcoming room for an intimate dinner. Laughter and soft music from a live singer filled the room as the evening unfolded.

Abby and Brandon's Cake and First Dance

As dusk fell, the reception took over. The cake cutting and first dance were full of emotion. The evening mixed celebration with plenty of quieter, intimate moments between the couple and their guests.

Night-Time Creative Wedding Photos

After dark, the manor's lights gave a soft glow, and we headed out for creative night portraits. These quiet images of Abby and Brandon closed the day.

Abby and Brandon's Testimonial

"We can't begin to express our gratitude for the extraordinary work done by our wedding photographer at Hogarths Stone Manor. Choosing to have our wedding in the UK, from Australia, we knew we needed someone exceptional to capture the essence of our Hogarths Stone Manor Wedding. From the moment we started the planning process, they were there with advice, offering suggestions, and answering every query we had.

On our wedding day, they captured the people in the beautiful venue and the overwhelming emotions, love, and joy we felt. Looking at the photos, we are immediately taken back to those precious moments: the sun-kissed outdoor ceremony at the Pump Rooms, the intimate breakfast and speeches in the drawing room, and our first dance under the evening sky.

Their candid and relaxed style meant we got beautiful, natural pictures filled with emotion, not just posed, formal photos. They captured the small details, from the vibrant confetti on the lawn to the laughter and tears during the speeches.

The wedding day goes by in a blur, but thanks to our photographer, we have a tangible memory that we can go back to time and time again. The photos are not just images to us but a story of our love, beautifully captured and narrated.
