A Day of Sunshine and Love: Capturing Rachel and Michael's Summer Wedding at the Amazing Venue, Hogarths Stone Manor.
Capturing Love & Joy: Rachel and Michael's Summer Wedding at Hogarths Stone Manor, Worcestershire
A wedding isn't just an event; it's a story - a tapestry of emotions, people, places, and moments. On one beautiful yet stormy summer day in Worcestershire, we witnessed and captured the intimate wedding story of Rachel and Michael, which unfolded at the charming venue of St. Mary's Church and then moved to the beautiful setting of Hogarths Stone Manor.
Hogarths Stone Manor Wedding Venue
Our journey began at St. Mary's Church, a historic venue in the heart of Stone, Kidderminster. Its classic architecture and sacred ambience make it the perfect stage for couples to profess their love. The reception moved us to the enchanting Hogarths Stone Manor Hotel, an ideal outdoor wedding setting surrounded by lavish summer gardens and extensive grounds. The venue's contemporary styling blends tradition with modern elegance, making it an excellent canvas for any Worcestershire Wedding Photographer to capture unforgettable summer wedding moments.
Bridal Preparation / Getting Ready Photos
Our day commenced with the bride's preparation at Rachel's house. Rachel, glowing in pre-wedding excitement, was surrounded by her bridesmaids, with Nicola, the chief, ensuring everything was flawless. The anticipation and joy in her home created a warm atmosphere, producing candid and heartfelt photographs.
Photographing the Ceremony
The ceremony at St Mary's Church was an intimate affair. As a Kidderminster Wedding Photographer, capturing the solemnity of their vows in the church's sacred atmosphere was genuinely unique. Although photo opportunities during the ceremony were limited, we took breathtaking photos of the church's distinctive architecture.
Formal Group and Family Photos
The sun-drenched gardens of Hogarths Stone Manor provided the perfect setting for formal family photos following the ceremony. The venue's beautiful grounds lent themselves to both elegant and fun-filled shots. Each family photo was a joyful celebration, with genuine smiles radiating love and happiness. These candid captures highlighted not only the family's close-knit bond but also the unique atmosphere of the venue and the joyous spirit of this summer wedding. The confetti shots were particularly memorable, with petals floating around Rachel and Michael, encapsulating the moment's excitement in a beautiful and colourful spectacle.
Bride and Groom Portraits
It was very hot and sunny before the wedding breakfast, so I decided to give the bride and groom some time alone with their guests; shortly before the rain came down, we got a couple of excellent portraits of Rachel and Michael, spending a little time on their own.
Wedding Breakfast and Speeches
The summer wedding breakfast was served in one of Hogarths Stone Manor's flexible wedding suites. Overseeing the room decor was Wedding House Droitwich, who transformed the space into a romantic haven perfect for indoor wedding receptions. Speeches during the breakfast added a personal touch, with laughter and tears beautifully punctuating the meal.
Evening Reception, Cake Cutting and First Dance
As the evening unfurled, Rachel and Michael cut their wedding cake amidst the cheers of their loved ones. The night moved rhythmically with their first dance. At the same time, Blue Diamond Entertainment ensured the party was alive with their DJ and Photo Booth services.
The day's sun gave way to torrential rain, which only heightened the romance. The nighttime photos amidst the rain brought a dramatic and creative touch to the wedding album. Rachel and Michael's wedding was an intimate yet grand celebration of love. Despite the day's changing weather, every moment was filled with joy, laughter, and affection, from the sun-soaked 'I Do's' at St. Mary's Church to the rain-drenched dance under the night sky at Hoagrths Stone Manor.
