Hogarths Stone Manor sits in the Worcestershire countryside, just outside Kidderminster. This Tudor-style manor house is more than a wedding room. It's a hotel, restaurant and grounds in one, and one of the county's best-known venues.
The manor house is Tudor-style, with distinctive black-and-white timber framing. It photographs well in any light, from bright midday sun to the blue hour after sunset.
The Grounds and Ceremony Spaces
Hogarths offers more ceremony locations than most venues. The outdoor Pump Room sits within the formal gardens, surrounded by mature trees. It's one of the most romantic ceremony settings I've worked in. The space works for small gatherings and larger celebrations alike.
If the weather turns, you have two indoor ceremony options: The Drey or The Drawing Room. I've photographed in both, and I recommend The Drawing Room where possible. It overlooks the pond and secluded gardens, so it has far more character than The Drey. Its windows give lovely natural light and garden views for the ceremony photos.
The walled garden is another strong backdrop, especially for evening portraits. Some of my most dramatic night photography was made here. I use its mature planting with off-camera flash, coloured gels and smoke.
For receptions, the Garden Room is the main space for wedding breakfasts and evening parties. It's bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the grounds. That natural light suits my documentary-style images very well.

The staff are good at working with accessibility needs. Raise it early in your planning if it affects your guest list.
Location and Transport
Hogarths' rural location is both a blessing and a challenge. The countryside setting provides privacy and natural beauty, but it's a drive or taxi ride from Kidderminster station. Most guests will need to drive, or you'll need to arrange transportation.

Hogarths is a premium wedding venue. In October 2026 its website listed wedding packages from £6,000. The winter package covers 40 day and 80 evening guests. The spring package is based on 80 guests.
