Katie, calm yet glowing with anticipation, was joined by her maid of honour Grace Goodall and bridesmaid Sally Jennings. Meanwhile, Robert and his groomsmen shared nerves and laughter as they got ready. Soon Robert would marry the love of his life.
Vows and a Bridesmaids' Song in the Drawing Room
The intimate Drawing Room was a warm setting for the couple's heartfelt vows. Its soft light added to the emotion in the room.
As Pluckybird's soft guitar filled the room, the doors opened and Katie walked in. Her smile lit up the room. Partway through, Grace and the bridesmaids sang a song for the couple, and many guests were in tears.

After their first kiss as Mr and Mrs Gallagher, everyone moved to the front steps of Hogarths Stone Manor. Bright confetti rained down on the couple as their loved ones cheered.
We then moved to the manicured lawns for smaller group photos. Those groups produced plenty of joyful, candid moments between family and friends.
Autumn Portraits and a Meteorite Ring
The estate came into its own during the portrait session. November colour filled the trees as Katie and Robert walked the woodland paths, stone archways and garden borders.
The day's astrophysics-inspired details added a unique touch. Robert’s meteorite ring, a heartfelt gift from Katie, glimmered against the autumn leaves—a meaningful symbol of their love.

As the sun set over Hogarths Stone Manor, I already knew where I wanted to take Katie and Robert. Their adventurous spirit suited my signature creative portraits. So we planned several short sessions to make the most of the changing light.
During golden hour, we used the venue's stone archways for elegant silhouettes, with off-camera flash adding depth and drama. As dusk settled, we moved to the woodland. There I placed several lights with coloured gels to turn the trees into a stage. Katie and Robert's chemistry made every frame work.
The highlight came in our final session under the stars. Backlit smoke and carefully placed flash produced the show-stopping portraits Katie and Robert had hoped for. My favourite was their champagne spray shot. I timed multiple flashes to freeze the spray mid-air while keeping the warm glow of the venue lights behind them.
Katie and Robert never missed much of their own celebration during these sessions. Each one lasted about 10 minutes, timed around key moments. That gave them a varied set of creative portraits while they stayed present with their guests.
