I'm Paul Hickey of Once in a Lifetime Photography, a Worcestershire wedding photographer based in the county. If you're getting married at The Vale Golf & Country Club in Bishampton, between Pershore and Evesham, I can photograph your whole day. My approach is documentary wedding photography through the day, then creative night portraits once the sun goes down. Yes. The Vale is an approved venue for civil ceremonies in Worcestershire. Ceremonies are conducted by the Worcestershire Registration Service, booked separately.

Do you photograph creative night portraits at The Vale?
Yes. I use off-camera flash so the couple stays sharp against the dark lake and sky. It takes about 10–15 minutes after the first dance.
How soon will we get our photos?
Your full gallery is delivered within 8 weeks. Films take 8–10 weeks.
Are you insured?
Yes. I'm fully insured and bring backup cameras, lighting and memory cards to every wedding.
Adding film to your day at The Vale
Photography and film come from one coordinated team, planned from a single brief. The Highlights Film is a 4–6 minute edit of your day. A ceremony film, recording your vows in full, can be added to any package for £350. See packages and prices.
Planning your timings at The Vale
Send me your group list early. Eight to ten family groups take about 20–30 minutes.
Allow 20–30 minutes for portraits. The lake, Pagoda and jetty are close to the clubhouse, so little time is lost walking.
Plan 10–15 minutes after the first dance. That is all the creative night portraits need.
Use a cabin for preparations. Balconies and lake views give natural light and an easy start.

About Paul Hickey
I'm the photographer at every wedding I book. I've photographed 150+ weddings since 2014. I'm a multiple Wedisson Award winner and a Flashmasters Gold Award recipient.
Before weddings, I photographed dance, drama and stage productions. That taught me to work quietly and anticipate moments. It also taught me how to light a scene, which is where my creative night portraits come from. I'm a recommended supplier at Hogarths Stone Manor.
