Booking and Planning

To secure your wedding date, I require a signed contract and a 10% booking deposit. The deposit is non-refundable and exclusively reserves your date. The remaining balance is due 28 days before your wedding.

No. Dates are held strictly on a first-come, first-served basis once a contract and deposit are received. A verbal or email enquiry does not secure a date.

12 to 18 months ahead for peak summer Saturdays. Many couples book a year or more in advance, particularly for popular Worcestershire venues where I hold recommended supplier status. Photography Style and Approach

Documentary wedding photography with creative evening portraits. I capture your day as it naturally unfolds, unobtrusive, candid, and genuine. In the evening, I use off-camera flash, coloured gels, smoke effects, and dramatic lighting to create portrait work that goes well beyond standard wedding photography.

Yes. I work from a pre-agreed list and typically complete all formal combinations within 30 to 40 minutes. I recommend keeping the list to around 8-12 combinations so it does not dominate the day.

Most camera anxiety disappears once people stop thinking about being photographed. I rarely give explicit posing instructions. I move couples into good light, give them something natural to do, and photograph what happens. An engagement session before the wedding is the single most effective way to feel relaxed on the day of the wedding.

Off-camera flash is a core part of my technical practice. I have spent years developing expertise in difficult lighting conditions. Ask to see full galleries from evening receptions and dark ceremony rooms, that is where the difference between experienced and inexperienced photographers becomes most visible.

Pricing and Packages

My 2026 packages start at £395 for registry office coverage and go to £2,195 for the Ultimate Wedding Experience, which includes full-day photography, a 30-page album, and a cinematic highlight video. Full-day documentary coverage with a second photographer starts at £1,395.

All full-day packages include: documentary coverage from morning preparations through the evening, a second photographer, 700+ professionally edited images, creative evening portrait sessions, a private online gallery with unlimited downloads, and a musical slideshow. Albums and videos are included in selected packages or available as additions.

Travel within Worcestershire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, and Herefordshire is included. Travel beyond that is discussed at the enquiry stage. There are no hidden fees; everything is stated clearly in the package details and contract.

On the Wedding Day

I arrive at least an hour before the agreed start time, often earlier. I stay through the first dances and into the evening portrait sessions. Coverage ends when the agreed package time is complete, with additional hours available at £150 per hour.

Typically, 20 to 30 minutes during the day and a similar amount in the evening. I keep it efficient so you spend as little time away from your guests as possible.videos are included in selected packages or available as additions.

Yes. My Signature, Complete Wedding Collection, and Ultimate Wedding Experience packages all include a second photographer throughout the entire wedding day. This allows simultaneous coverage from different positions, particularly valuable during ceremonies and morning preparations.

I make contact with key suppliers in advance to discuss positioning, timeline, and any shared lighting considerations. I also offer a hybrid photography and video service: a 3- to 5-minute cinematic highlight video that eliminates coordination challenges entirely and saves couples £400 to £700 compared to hiring separate providers.

Yes, and I will ask for one. My pre-wedding questionnaire covers group photo combinations, key moments, and specific details you want captured. The shot list covers the non-negotiables; the rest is left to my judgment on the day.
Albums, Prints, and Add-Ons

Yes. My Complete Wedding Collection and Ultimate Wedding Experience both include a beautifully presented 30-page wedding album, printed on premium paper and professionally bound, in a gift box. Albums can also be added to any package.

Yes. An engagement session is the most effective way to feel comfortable on your wedding day. It builds familiarity, removes camera anxiety, and gives us both a sense of what works. Ask about availability and pricing at the enquiry stage.

Yes, as a hybrid service. My Premium Hybrid Collection and Ultimate Wedding Experience include a 3 to 5-minute cinematic highlight video alongside full photography coverage. This is produced and directed as part of the same creative vision, not as a separate service bolted on.
Backup Plans and Professional Standards

I have an established network of trusted professional photographers I can call on in an emergency. Any backup photographer would be experienced and professional. This contingency is covered in the contract.

Yes. I carry backup camera bodies, lenses, memory cards, flash units, and batteries to every wedding. I shoot with professional Canon bodies that have dual memory card slots, so if one card fails, nothing is lost.

Yes. I carry full public liability insurance and professional equipment insurance. Many Worcestershire venues, including Hogarths Stone Manor, require proof of insurance from all suppliers. Confirmation is available on request.

I have photographed dozens of weddings in poor weather and have a clear set of approaches for indoor portrait locations, covered spaces, creative use of reflections and umbrellas. Rain does not mean poor images. It means different ones.
Image Delivery

Full-day packages deliver 700+ professionally edited images. Registry office packages include 100-150 images. The exact number depends on the length of coverage and the size of the wedding.

Within eight weeks of your wedding date as standard. Preview images, a selection of favourites, are typically shared within two weeks.

Via a private online gallery with high-resolution downloads. The gallery is fully shareable with family and guests, who can download directly at no additional cost. Galleries remain accessible for at least 12 months.

No. RAW files are unprocessed image data that look significantly worse than finished photographs without specialist editing software. Professionally edited high-resolution JPEGs are the correct deliverable and what you will receive.
Image Rights, Privacy, and Contracts

I retain copyright as the photographer, which is standard industry practice. You receive a full personal use licence, the right to print, share, and use the images for personal purposes without restriction or additional cost.

Yes, completely. If you do not want your images shared on social media, used on my website, or submitted to awards, I will honour that fully. I ask every couple about this during the planning process and document the agreed terms in the contract.

The contract specifies the exact services, payment schedule, cancellation terms for both parties, delivery timeline, image rights, emergency contingency, and maximum liability. Everything is in writing before any money changes hands.

I may wish to share images on my website, social media, and in award submissions. This is how I build my portfolio. You can request approval rights, restrict specific images, or request full privacy. All of this is agreed at the booking stage and written into the contract.
