Unique Worcestershire Tipi Wedding In The Wyre Forest

Worcester Registry Office

Olivia and Nick had their civil wedding reception at Worcester's county hall registry office. The couple wanted something unique and special for their wedding day, so they decided to have a tipi wedding in the Wyre Forest afterwards.

The Wyre Forest is a beautiful woodland area located near Kidderminster, Worcestershire. It is home to some of the most stunning scenery in the county, making it an ideal location for a unique and memorable wedding.

The groom and family arrived first, followed by the bride, dad and nan in a lovely Bentley wedding car. The small, intimate civil ceremony was beautiful. Following the ceremony, the guests went outside to form a confetti walkway for the bride and groom.

I love a confetti photo. I used to photograph these shots in half circle but now prefer them as a wedding walkway.

Wyre Forest Wedding

If you’re looking for a truly unique and unforgettable wedding experience, look no further than a Wyre Forest Wedding. Located in the heart of Worcestershire, England, the Wyre Forest is an ancient woodland that offers couples a beautiful and tranquil setting for their special day.

A Wyre Forest Wedding is perfect for couples who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and have a unique day. Nick and Olivia's tipi had been positioned near the Wyre Forest visitor centre and decorated with a wide range of items to enhance the fantastic warm feel of the tipi.

Outside, there was a pizza oven, and inside a fantastic buffet and bar.

Tipi Wedding

A tipi wedding is a unique and memorable celebration of your special day. Tipis are large, conical tents used by Native American tribes for centuries. They provide an intimate and rustic setting for your wedding ceremony and reception.

Tipi weddings can be held in the Wyre Forest, which is located in Worcestershire, England. This ancient woodland is home to some of the most stunning scenery in the county, making it an ideal location for a unique and memorable wedding.

Nick and Olivia's tipi were decorated with fairy lights, bunting, balloons with LED lights, and more LED lights around the exterior. They also had a pizza oven outside and a fantastic buffet and bar inside.

Benefits of a Tipi Wedding

A tipi wedding is a unique and memorable celebration of your big day. There are many benefits to having a tipi wedding, from the stunning backdrop of nature to the flexibility of design and layout.

The first benefit of a tipi wedding is its beautiful natural setting. Tipis are typically set up in outdoor locations such as forests, fields, or beaches, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of nature on your special day.

The second benefit is the flexibility of design and layout. Tipis can be decorated in various ways, allowing you to create a unique and personalised atmosphere for your wedding.

Finally, tipi weddings are incredibly cost-effective compared to traditional venues. They require minimal setup and decorations, making them an affordable option for couples on a budget.

The Tipi had been supplied by a company called Tipically Inspired Tipis, which provides beautiful tipis for weddings across the Midlands. With bespoke tipi hire and catering, they are certainly worth considering.

Whether you are seeking a unique and memorable wedding experience or an affordable alternative to traditional venues, a tipi wedding in the Wyre Forest is perfect. Nick and Olivia's special day was indeed one of a kind, and we wish them all the best for their future together!

Tipi Wedding Photographer

Nothing compares to a tipi wedding in the Wyre Forest when planning a unique wedding. With its picturesque backdrop of rolling hills and lush greenery, this is an ideal setting for couples looking to create a truly memorable experience. But with such an unconventional venue comes the need for an equally unique photographer.

A tipi wedding photographer should be experienced in capturing the beauty of the natural landscape and be able to capture the unique atmosphere of a tipi wedding. They should also be familiar with the Wyre Forest and its surroundings, as this will help them to create stunning images that truly capture the spirit of your special day.

Nick and Olivia chose an experienced photographer who could capture their special day in all its beauty. Photographing a wedding in a tipi is challenging. There is no natural light, so a natural light wedding photographer would need help here. As an experienced creative wedding photographer, I felt at home using multiple off-camera flashes.

Nick and Olivia had chosen to have a more non-traditional wedding. There were no speeches, cake cutting, or the first dance; it was just a great party with family and friends.

Inspired by another great wedding photographer, I had been looking to produce a large wedding print for a bride and groom, including all the guests, for some time. This was the perfect wedding to do this for the first time. Mainly because of the time we had, and secondly, I loved the ambience of the inside of the tipi. I found the perfect location to set up a tripod and flashes, and after a few test shots, I started photographing each table at a time. I am so pleased this has come out as expected, but it took considerable time on the day and more editing and putting together afterwards.

Creative Wedding Photography

Regarding wedding photography, a unique tipi wedding in the Wyre Forest offers couples a genuinely creative opportunity. With its stunning natural backdrop of trees and rolling hills, the Wyre Forest is ideal for capturing beautiful, unique images that will last a lifetime.

The backdrop of the Wyre Forest is perfect for creating romantic and whimsical photos that will be cherished. Still, the light faded very early due to the time of the year, a winter wedding, so my creative wedding photographs had to be taken outside in complete darkness. I used multiple flashes, gels and smoke bombs to make the most of this situation. It was cold, but we had some fun setting up these photos.
