The Banqueting Hall
The Banqueting Hall is the heart of most Warwick House weddings. It is chandelier-lit, and the venue describes it as a blank canvas. Many couples use it for the ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception on the same day. For photography, that means the room changes character several times. I plan around each turnaround so nothing is missed while the room is reset.
Outdoor ceremonies
The outdoor gazebo is licensed for ceremonies in the grounds. Angela and Tafarie married outdoors at half past one on a cloudless July day. Outdoor ceremonies depend on the weather, so agree on a wet-weather room with the venue early. One third-party listing says outdoor ceremonies run March to October, but the venue's own site doesn't confirm this.

Most Warwick House weddings follow the same shape: ceremony, drinks on the terrace, wedding breakfast and evening reception, largely in the Banqueting Hall. This is a typical running order, not an official venue schedule. Your coordinator will confirm your own.

Photographing Warwick House: Light, Locations and What I Learned
Warwick House gives a photographer real range on one site: the house frontage, landscaped gardens, the outdoor ceremony area and the gazebo are all close together. That matters on a wedding day. It means I can move between preparations, arrivals and the ceremony without missing anything.
Midday sun on the outdoor ceremony area
The outdoor ceremony area is exposed. At 1:30 pm in late July, the sun is near its highest point. That creates hard shadows under eyes and bright highlights on anything pale. Tafarie wore a white suit, one of the hardest things to photograph in full sun. The job is holding fabric detail while not losing faces. If you’re marrying outdoors in summer, a slightly later ceremony gives softer light.
Indoor confetti in the hallway
At Angela and Tafarie’s wedding, confetti happened indoors in the hallway. Its light is far lower than outside. I modified settings and position for that, and the photographs came out well. Check your own confetti arrangements with the venue early.
The gazebo after dark
The gazebo is worth revisiting in the evening. After sunset, it produces a portrait that looks nothing like the bright, hard-lit ceremony earlier. This is one of the Warwick House locations I’d recommend to every couple for a short evening portrait.
Smoke effects and wind direction
I photographed a smoke sequence with Angela and Tafarie’s bridal party outside. Partway through, the breeze shifted and pushed the smoke back toward the building. We still finished with plenty of strong frames. At Warwick House, I watch the wind closely and position groups so smoke drifts away from the house. Confirm the venue’s policy on smoke effects before planning them.

Angela and Tafarie married at Warwick House on a hot Thursday in late July 2026. Angela asked guests to wear colour, and they did. Their outdoor ceremony took place in full sun at half past one. Confetti followed indoors in the hallway. Phase One Steel Band played through the drinks reception.
Speeches opened with video messages from family who couldn’t be there. There were two cakes, one a Jamaican rum cake made by Tafarie’s family. A food truck served Jamaican food in the evening. The day ended with smoke portraits outside, an evening portrait in the gazebo and a highlights film from the same team.
